Dr. Michelle Hurless

Dr. Hurless chose a career in medicine to have the ability to do mission work. Caring for people is truly her life’s passion. She enjoys helping patients take a holistic approach to alleviating their foot and ankle problems and thinking outside the box when it comes to treatment plans.

She is a board-certified Podiatrist by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and board qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. She completed her Residency at the Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville, Texas which included a high volume of all foot and ankle surgical cases including trauma, pediatrics and reconstruction. Presently, Dr Hurless has a special interest in flatfoot reconstruction and sports medicine. Her clinical and surgical practice is diverse and includes pediatrics, diabetic limb salvage, minimally invasive surgery, and alternative medicine therapy.

Additionally, she works to provide education on foot and ankle health via social media and values a forward thinking way of approaching medicine.

Dr. Hurless is heavily involved as a yearly volunteer for the San Miguel, Mexico Mission Trip through the Texas Podiatric Medical Foundation every August which includes treatment and management of congenital deformities surgically.

In her free time, Dr. Hurless enjoys traveling the world, being outdoors and hiking with her husband and children and experiencing local cuisine.
